This notice covers home.bcode.io, run by bCode. Questions or requests: support@bcode.io.

What we collect on this site

• What you tell us. When you use the service-area checker, the calculator or the booking form: your trade, zip codes, the numbers you enter, your name, business, email and, if you choose, phone, ad spend and timeline.
• How you use the site. Pages you view, buttons you click, which version of a page you saw, your browser type, the IP address your request comes from, and the page that referred you. We collect this with our own first-party analytics and cookies (_bcode_vid to recognize a returning browser, bxp to keep showing you the same version of a page).

Advertising partners

To measure and improve our own advertising, this site may load tags from Meta (Facebook and Instagram), Google (Google Ads and Google Analytics) and FreeWheel (our programmatic advertising platform, formerly Beeswax). These partners may set their own cookies and receive information such as the pages you view and when you request a call. When you submit the form, we may also send these partners a scrambled (hashed) copy of your email or phone number so they can tell us whether our ads helped. They use this under their own privacy policies.

Your choices: do not sell or share

You can opt out of advertising tags on this site. When you opt out, or when your browser sends a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal, we don’t load any advertising partner tags and we don’t send your information to them. This setting is saved in a cookie on this browser.

How we use it

• To reply to you and schedule the call you asked for.
• To learn which versions of our pages are clearest, by comparing how visitors use them in aggregate.
• To measure whether our own ads reached the businesses that later contacted us.
• To keep the site secure and prevent abuse.

Who we share it with

Service providers that run the site and our sales process for us: Amazon Web Services (hosting and email delivery) and HubSpot (our customer database and meeting scheduler). Advertising partners as described above, unless you opt out. We do not sell the information you share on this site.

How long we keep it

Form submissions are kept while we have a business relationship or for up to two years after your last contact. Site usage data is kept in aggregate.

Your rights

You can ask us to show, correct or delete the information you gave us, or to stop contacting you, by emailing support@bcode.io. Residents of Texas and other states with consumer privacy laws have these rights under those laws, and we will respond within the time they require. You can also block or clear cookies in your browser.

Our advertising services

When we run advertising for home-service businesses, ads are delivered through major ad platforms under those platforms’ rules. We do not sell or hand over personal information to our clients; clients receive aggregate results, and see a household’s details only when that household is already their own lead or customer.

Changes

We will post any changes here and update the date above.
